Here is how to prepare your order.
What is an animated course map?
It is a video that brings your race course to life on a map. MapMotion adds your event name, logo and colors, ready to promote the course in Feed posts and Stories.
What do I need to send?
After payment, send your official course as GPX or KML, or a public Strava route or activity link. On your order page, add the event name, main color and logo. You can also include brand guidelines, a color palette, fonts, sponsor logos and references. You do not need your files ready to place an order.
Will the videos match my event branding?
Yes. Your map is customized with your event name, logo and colors. The branding materials you send guide this work. The U.S. examples on this page use fictional event branding to demonstrate the result.
Which video files and formats do I receive?
You receive four final MP4 files with audio for one course: 2D and 3D Feed videos at 1080 × 1350 pixels (4:5), and 2D and 3D Stories videos at 1080 × 1920 pixels (9:16). An instrumental soundtrack is included, ready to share on social media.
Can I send a Strava link instead of GPX or KML?
Yes. After purchase, upload a GPX or KML file or paste a public Strava route or activity link. Check that other people can open it. If your course is private, export a GPX and upload the file.
How much does it cost and how do I order?
Your animated map costs US$20.00, as a one-time payment with no subscription. Enter your name, email and WhatsApp, then pay securely with Stripe. After confirmation, upload your course, logo and branding, with optional notes. Save a draft and return through My orders using your purchase email. Review and production start when all required materials have been submitted.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery takes 12–48 hours after payment is confirmed and all event materials have been submitted. Saving a draft does not start this period. Once ready, download your videos from My orders.
Can runners use the video to navigate during the race?
The video is designed to promote and explain your course on social media. It does not replace race rules, course signage or official instructions from the organizer.
